I started by openening photoshop, and simply selecting 'New' file, and then chosing 'Film & Video' in the file type menu. Then skipping all the other settings, going ahead and openening and starting the project.

But what I have here is no good, as I'll just be drawing on the background layer provided, which means it won't animate as I want it to.

To solve this I need a layer, but one which would go along with the animation.

I went to Layer - Video Layers - New blank video layers, to add a layer which I could start drawing on.

Now, to see what I'm doing and what I've done, I now need a timeline, to construct my annimation.

I found this in Window - Timeline.

This then provided me it a timeline at the bottom of photoshop, which allowed me to see where I was in my animation, and skip back and forth, thorugh the frames, to go back and edit if I wish.

Now I have my layer which I can draw on and a timeline to see what I'm doing, I now can go ahead and start animating. However, when I go onto the next frame, to draw again, my animation from the frame before, dissapears.

I solved this issue by sellecting the little menu option near the time line, and 'enabled onion skins'.

Onion skins is where the sketch from the frame before (and after, if chosen) is shown through a curtain opacity, so you can draw on from that frame, and graducally change through out the annimation.

I then used all of these tools and techniques to go on and create my own annimation, to feature in my 30 second about me.

I simply went ahead and annimated my name in and out.

You can find this at the ending of the video, in the last couple of seconds.
